GameNight

Who bought in, how much, and who owes whom when the night ends.

GameNight is a buy-in and settle-up tracker for a regular game night. It answers three questions: who bought in, how many times, and who owes whom when the night ends. Instead of one sheet of paper that only the person holding it can read, everyone around the table sees the same live screen, and the settle-up at the end is calculated for you.

Who it is for

Any group that meets regularly and shares a pot: a weekly poker four, a rummy night, a board-game evening. If you have been looking for a way to track buy-ins, split a shared pot, or work out who pays whom at the end of the night, this is it.

How it works

Why not a sheet of paper

A sheet of paper only knows what the person holding it wrote down. Here the count is visible to everybody in real time, there is a log showing every buy-in with its timestamp, and any change is seen by the whole room the moment it happens.

Settling up properly

All money is handled in whole minor units rather than decimals, so nothing is lost to rounding. When the final count does not balance exactly, the difference is split evenly across all participants instead of landing on one person. The result is a short list of payments: not everyone paying everyone, only what is actually needed to close.

Seven languages

Hebrew, English, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German, with full right-to-left layout in Hebrew and Arabic. The language is chosen once and switches instantly, with no restart.

No sign-up

No account, no password, no email. Open the app and start. No name, email address or phone number is collected.

Works offline

If the connection drops mid-night, buy-ins keep working and are stored on the device, then sent on their own the moment the network is back. No duplicates and no lost entries.

This is not gambling

The app takes no money, moves no money and offers no game of chance. It counts and it calculates, exactly like the sheet of paper it replaces.

FAQ

How much does GameNight cost?

It is completely free. There are small banner ads on two screens only, and never on a live game screen, so nothing interrupts the night itself.

Do I need an account?

No. No user, no password, no email. Open the app and start. No name, email address or phone number is collected.

How do the others join?

Whoever opened the group gets a QR code and a six-letter code. Scan it or type it, and that is it. The code can also be sent over WhatsApp.

Who can change things during a game?

Only the person who opened the group. Everyone else sees everything live but cannot write, and that is enforced on the server rather than only in the interface. There is also a log showing every buy-in with its timestamp, so any change is visible to the whole room.

What if the final count does not balance?

The app neither ignores it nor drops it on one person. It splits the difference evenly across all participants, and tells you that is what it did.

What happens if the network drops mid-game?

You keep going. Buy-ins are stored on the device and sent on their own when the connection returns, with no duplicates and no lost entries.

Can we use different currencies?

Yes. Each group picks its own currency symbol and everything is calculated in it.

Is this a gambling app?

No. The app takes no money, moves no money and offers no game of chance. It counts buy-ins and calculates a settle-up, like the scoresheet it replaces.

Do debts carry over between nights?

No, and that is deliberate. Each night closes on its own. The group leaderboard shows how things stand over time, but it never becomes an open debt.

Which languages are supported?

Hebrew, English, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German, with full right-to-left layout in Hebrew and Arabic.
